Brane Discovery, a spin-off from NiKem Research, is now a fully independent company with a strong, CNS-focused R&D pipeline of preclinical projects with strong IP protection. Brane’s pipeline addresses important unmet medical needs: the most advanced compound will soon enter clinical trials for chemo- and antiviral therapy induced neuropathic pain; another NCE with a novel MoA and the potential to slow down the disease progression for poorly responding Parkinson’s symptoms is nearing phase I . Novel lead molecules from exploratory discovery programs have generated exciting results in preclinical models of demyelinating conditions.
